Field Technician – Integration
About the Role
Reporting to our Integration Team, responsible for conducting installations and servicing, ideally you will be a skilled electrician / data cabler however a labourer with the appropriate tickets such as working at heights, EWP, construction, CPR, etc. will also be considered. The position is dynamic and reactive, with day to day responsibilities including:
- Installation and servicing of RF equipment, particularly at heights which will include, for example, climbing radio towers.
- Rigging of telecommunications antennas, radios, cables, grounding components etc.
- General labour associated with the RF industry; re-terminating cables, modifying bracketry, etc.
Who are we Seeking?
Telco is seeking a individual who possesses knowledge in wireless communications and network technologies. Applicants should have all required and current tickets/accreditation to perform the role. Re-purposing of the role may occur which will demand the applicant is willing to learn extra skills in order to work on the more challenging projects undertaken by Telco.
A dynamic role involving primarily field responsibilities, the applicant must be active, willing to travel on extended deployments regularly, and work at heights. The role calls for an individual suited to an unstructured workplace, working alongside a young, energetic team of technicians, riggers, and electricians.
As a rapidly evolving tech company, the candidate would use his/her skillset to contribute towards the aggressive expansion of Telco into the wireless networking and infrastructure space. The ideal applicant would embody an entrepreneurial spirit and embrace an enterprising start-up culture.
