New Model


  • The new PowerBeam AC M5 is part of the new AC series, incorporating 802.11ac technology - providing 256QAM modulation resulting in data rates as high as 450Mbps @ >65dBm

  • Previous PowerBeam and NanoBeam models were based on 802.11n technology which provided up to 64QAM (270Mbps, but often limited by their 10/100Eth interface to 100Mbps).


Improved Noise Immunity


  • The PowerBeam ac ISO directs RF energy in a tighter beamwidth, and its integrated isolator design improves RF isolation to spatially filter out interference

  • With its combination of focused beam directivity and RF isolation, the PowerBeam ac ISO blocks noise to improve noise immunity

  • This is especially important in an area crowded with other RF signals of the same or similar frequency.


Integrated Radio Design


  • Ubiquiti’s InnerFeed® technology integrates the radio into the feedhorn of an antenna, so there is no need for a cable

  • This improves performance because it eliminates cable losses.

Ready to Install


  • This unit has all networking hardware and surge protection integrated and is completely weatherproof for permanent installation in even the toughest environments

  • Signal strength indicators allow for quick and easy alignment. For best performance the unit should be roof mounted, high and clear of obstructions, via its integrated pole mounting bracket

  • The units are powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE) - simply plug one end of the Ethernet cable into the PowerBeam, and the other into the PoE Injector (which is plugged into AC power)

  • This allows one cable to both power the unit and also carry network traffic

  • We recommend using Cat6 Outdoor UV Shielded Cable with this unit.
