Typical Use

While a big roof mounted antenna might offer the best performance, sometimes it's not practical or even possible (especially for those of us renting!). You might have noticed that signal is usually stronger next to a window or doorway - buildings with metal structures, thick walls, or foil-based insulation block a lot of signal from penetrating indoors, meaning conventional indoor antennas aren't suitable. This antenna takes a unique approach to solving this common issue, simply find a window where signal is stronger, attach the antenna via it's adhesive pad, and connect your phone or modem with a cradle or patch lead. Simple.

Installation

The best way to locate a good spot for the antenna is to walk around with your mobile phone and place it against each window. Wait a few seconds and see if your signal naturally improves - if so, you've found a great position for the antenna, if not, try the next window. It might help to access a numerical meter on your phone - you can learn how to do so here. Glass or wall mountable, the antenna's wide band hybrid design makes it ideal for office and home use on any network.
