Proximity InstallationThis cluster mounting bracket will result in the three sector antennas and radios being mounted together in close proximity. To minimise hostile interference (both wide-band and in-band) it's important to use this cluster mount in conjunction with RF Armor sector kits.
Suitable for the following antennas
- AMS 2G-90-16 (2 GHz 90° 16dB)
- AMS 2G-120-15 (2 GHz 120° 15dB)
- AMS 5G-90-20 (5 GHz 90° 20dB)
- AMS 5G-120-19 (5 GHz 120° 19dB)
- AMS 3G-120-18 (3 GHz 120° 18dB)
- AM-V2G-Ti (2 GHz 60/90/120° 15/16/17dB)
- AM-V5G-Ti (5 GHz 60/90/120° 19/20/21dB)
Why do I need RF ArmorWith class licensed bands becoming more and more congested, RF Armor is essential in minimising hostile interference from nearby radios and access points. As side-lobe gain is an inherent imperfection in antenna design, the heavy-gauge aluminium is designed to attenuate both inbound interference and outbound transmissions in all directions outside the central lobe. Even in clear spectrum RF Armor helps reduce thermal noise as well as protecting radio and antenna radomes from UV deterioration. Deployment of RF Armor is not only essential practice on any commercial and industrial application, but an expectation as part of the responsible use of class licensed (license-free) bands.
