Usage

• The Taoglas Olympian III, MA181 is a high-performance 3-in-1 GNSS, 4G/5G MIMO permanent mount antenna, featuring a compact design with a height of 70mm and a diameter of 59mm. It is particularly suited for external applications on vehicles and outdoor assets that require GNSS and Cellular MIMO connectivity.

• This GPS/GLONASS/Galileo antenna provides stable gain and radiation patterns across all bands. The 4G/5G antenna supports all global LTE bands, encompassing numerous sub 6GHz and 5G FR1 bands, while also offering fallback to 3G/2G bands when necessary. The design has been enhanced to minimize cable radiation, ensuring that the antenna remains unaffected when installed on a metal enclosure. Consequently, the MA181 antenna can be effectively mounted on both metal and plastic structures. Taoglas recommends using a minimum cable length of 1 meter to ensure optimal antenna performance.

• The enclosure is rated IP67 and constructed from robust ASA material, providing resistance to vandalism. An integrated rubber O-ring beneath the enclosure prevents water ingress beneath the antenna. It is installed from within the user device enclosure, and the compact thread design facilitates installation in tight spaces.
