CelFi Troubleshooting Guides
If you have weak or spotty coverage wherever you want to use your mobile phone or mobile data connection then a repeater is one tool that you can easily set up to start enjoying improved quality of service. A repeater is a device that captures a weak signal from far away and re-broadcasts it in your local area. Your devices will lock on to the repeater's signal, which is strong and reliable, and ignore the faint signal from far away.
All repeaters that we sell are 100% legal to use in Australia.
The Cel-Fi Go Repeater Units are a convenient solution to poor indoor phone coverage. Installing this device in your home can improve the reliability of phone calls, text messages, and increase 4G & 5G mobile broadband signal.
There are currently 2 Cel Fi Go Repeaters available for purchase in the Cel-Fi GO G51 Smart Signal Repeater and the other with the Cel-Fi GO G41 Smart Signal Repeater.
Both the G41 and G51 are able to rebroadcast 2 Frequency Bands at the one time.
The G41 is currently only rated to the 4G Bands, but will be upgradeable down the track so service the 5G Bands once the Carriers update their Towers to service the Non Stand Alone 5G.
The G51 is the only Cel Fi rated for the current 5G with one output frequency locked to the N78 Band 3600MHz.
The Cel Fi Go Repeaters are locked to a single Carrier at a time, it is though possible to run Multiple Repeaters to cater for Multi Carrier requirements.
The Cel Fi Repeaters are an inline Amplifier which need to be connected to an Externally Mounted Donor Antenna to feed the Signal into the Cel Fi itself, the Cel Fi will then amplify the Signal through the unit and provide the increased Signal to an Internally Mounted Distribution Antenna which disburses the Signal outwards.
For the Donor Antenna we generally recommend having a Directional Antenna in order to improve both the Strength and the Quality of the Signal coming into the Cel Fi itself, this will maxmise the performance of the Repeater Setup. Please feel free to contact our Team to get their advice on which Antenna setup would be best for your situation.
It is possible to connect the Cel Fi Repeaters through to Multiple Distribution Antennas through the use of a Signal Splitter/Hybrid Coupler, please contact our Team for further information.
