Usage

• The 7.5dBi Gain is perfectly suited for Marine Applications, with reported usage out 100km+ off the Coast. 

• As a rule of thumb: the higher the dBi, the flatter the angle the antenna can receive signal. 

• The 20° vertical beamwidth offered by the CDQ8197 will help to alleviate any issues with Rolling Seas.

• The CDQ8197 is Capable of Servicing the Entire 3G & 4G Network the setup is perfectly suited for Phone or Data Applications

• The CDQ8197 is supplied with a 5m RG58 Tail Terminating to an SMA Male

• For Longer Cable Runs we recommend shortening the Tail via our Cable Modification Service and then using a single long run of Super Low Loss Cable.

Connection

This antenna has a 5m cable that terminates with an SMA Male connector

The SMA Male is the most common type of connector for mobile antennas and mates with the SMA Female connector found on the Cel Fi Repeaters & our various patch leads.
