Vodafone mobile phone, mobile broadband, and Vodafone 4G coverage maps. Vodafone mobile broadband uses HSPA, HSPA+, and DC-HSPA+ to provide wireless broadband speeds ranging from 7.2Mbps to 42Mbps to 94% of Australia's population, with coverage expansion continually being rolled out.
In September 2012 Vodafone launched 3G+ to triple maximum mobile broadband speeds up to 21Mbps using HSPA+, and in selected areas 42Mbps using DC-HSPA+. Vodafone commenced rollout of their 4G LTE in June 2013, boosting maximum speeds up to 150Mbps across all states with a whopping 20MHz of 1800MHz spectrum.
Vodafone coverage maps will display expected performance for both mobile phone coverage and mobile broadband signal strength in different areas. The Network Zones map is a great way to find out if your area is covered by Vodafone 3G 850MHz, 900MHz or the older 2100MHz 3G network, or 900MHz GSM services only.
Applies to all Vodafone resellers, including: Crazy Johns, AAPT, 3 Mobile.
