Usage

• The HGLND-CAT6J shielded DIN mountable indoor lightning protector offers exceptional lightning and surge protection, along with enhanced frequency response for indoor 10/100/1000 Ethernet networks.

• The incorporation of ultra-low capacitance semiconductor protection arrays ensures superior high frequency response and improved return loss for the four data pairs. This unit features low line-to-line and line-to-ground capacitance, which minimizes distortion of high-speed signals.

• Its design effectively protects against both common and differential mode surges.

• The HGLND-CAT6J is fully compatible with 802.3af/at Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) devices.

• It accommodates PoE mode A and B for power delivery, as well as supporting both normal and reverse polarity PoE utilized in certain Cisco Access Points.

• The HGLND-CAT6J is also compatible with wireless Access Points, Bridges, Client Adapters, and Network Appliances, regardless of their Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) capabilities.

• This model is equipped with shielded RJ45 jacks, and the metal housing contributes to the reduction of EMI interference.

• Additional features include a ground lug and terminal directly on the lightning protector housing, ensuring superior grounding.

• For optimal lightning protection on extended cable runs, two HGLND-CAT6J protectors can be employed, one positioned at each end of the cable.

• This unit can be securely mounted to a DIN 3 rail using the DIN mounting clip located on its rear.
